Location details:
Limited parking in lot, street parking in near by neighborhoods, Picnic Tables, ***The San Lorenzo River may have homeless encampments along its banks, some hazardous materials and/or hypodermic needles may be present, this site is not ideal for young children and requires adult supervision of all youth participants.***

Directions:
From Hwy. 17 S or Hwy. 1 get off at the Ocean Street Exit and head towards the ocean. Turn right onto Broadway. Mimi de Marta Commons is on the right hand side just before you cross the bridge.

Special notes: This cleanup is being held in conjunction with the Santa Cruz Earth Day Festival in the Farmer's Market Lot on Cedar Street. Outreach will happen at the festival to recruit volunteers for the cleanup. Festival volunteers can meet at the Save Our Shores booth and walk to the river cleanup site.
