Thousands of pounds of fireworks and picnic litter are left on the beach, eventually making their way into the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Help Ecology Action and the Clean Beaches Coalition share the"Pollution Prevention is Patriotic" message with tourists at Cowell and Main Beach on July 4th. Check in with Ecology Action staff at the pollution prevention station under the wharf and help hand out free trash and recycling bags and remind folks to "Pack Their Trash". We need your help!
