The Clean Beaches Coalition
The Clean Beaches Coalition is comprised of four Santa Cruz area non-profits, Ecology Action, Save Our Shores, Pack Your Trash and the Santa Cruz chapter of the Surfrider Foundation. The Coalition was formed in 2006 to give the community one consistent presence to turn to for beach cleanup information. The Coalition will allow the organizations to better organize beach cleanups by sharing volunteer information and coordinating which beaches get cleaned up. We expect the results will be greater volunteer participation and cleaner beaches.
